We have recently supplied a lookalike Buggy for the SLINGSHOT monster truck racing team for promoting both their MONSTER TRUCK and also our company. Karl and Jenny Swallow Took possession of their buggy at the Parham park country fair where they where putting on a public show, jumping the truck over cars. We where welcomed with open arms and had a really friendly weekend, helping out preparing the truck and generally drinking tea etc! Karl and Jenny became instant friends and invited us to join them at many other venues. During the course of the weekend, there was an unfortunate incident on the last day when a car collapsed under Karls rear tyre and caused the truck to end up showing it belly to the crowd! Despite this, spirits where not dampened and with their pit crew member, John, the truck was soon back up the right way and nobody was hurt. Luckily there where members of the press there and the next day an article was in the Sun newspaper. A great way to get some publicity! Click here to see the article.

While at Santa Pod last weekend, we met Tony Dixon, the owner of the Swamp Thing Monster Truck and he liked Karls Mini Monster truck so much. He wanted one! Now we are working together to produce a second Mini monster truck to run alongside the Slingshot one for promoting their events. As Tony is a professional painter by trade, he will be doing the majority of the conversion to the buggy himself, so we cant claim to have built this one! Tony will supply some pictures to add to this site soon, so watch this space. |
